You might even have a reading competition for the kids around by giving them comics and story books on Halloween based themes and concepts. Ask them to read one paragraph at a time and then explain it to all around with gestures and emotions, making the ambiance lively and also entertaining. Costume making is another fun activity, and you may want to stock up on thrift store finds and construction paper and other craft materials for your party.
